Max, the Boss Dog, rest in peace. You were the best of friends to Don, a peaceful companion, and I have so many fond memories of you in the shop and chasing your tail in the front yard. Sweet, sweet dog you will be missed!

Thanks. Glad you like it. It's nice when these things actually work out as well as we hope...

Huzzah for Cassie! I didn't think it would take you long to find another member of the family who is not a cat. ;-)

The binding's gorgeous, Don -- I'm looking forward to cleaning up the studio and getting back to having room to work at the bench. But I have to get the next couple of show proposals out the door first!

Happy New Year to you all.

I hope your interview goes well and the job eventuates. We'll keep the phalanges and metatarsals crossed.

That's a great picture of Max. Could you email me a copy that I could add to this page? And your snailmail address as well; there will be a New Years' card after, as usual, the New Year.

Sadly, no, but I wish I was making more art: lately, I feel like I'm being "writer of applications for grants and residencies" instead. That being said, all of a sudden I've gone from having one show next year to being, um, rather busy, at least for the first half of the year.

And I have a job interview next week that could be a major game-changer.

Will email our new snail address if you are doing a press card for the holidays.
