Don Rash is a hand bookbinder, calligrapher and letterpress printer. He resides in Northeast Pennsylvania with his wife Elaine, head of youth services at the Osterhout Free Library; a plethora of cats & books; and Cassie, the Hypersonic Shiba Inu. He is founder and instructor of the School for Formal Bookbinding, also in Northeast Pennsylvania. He's been a serious reader of science fiction for over 50 years, and has, at various times, played the cornet, tuba, violin and theremin. His tuba playing has been deemed adequate by some.
